Catholic Schools Week- Grandparents Day 2022
Our classes carried out some lovely activities for their Grandparents day today - cards, pictures and poems xx
Some classes even had some very special visitors who told them stories of life when they were children :-)

Barnardo's Young Achiever Award for NI 2021
Huge congratulations to Sophia from Y5 who was named as Barnardo's Young Achiever for NI for overcoming many hurdles during the past year - Sophia recieved her award from Nathasha Kaplinski via Zoom on Wednesday.

Y4 Evacuee Day
Mrs Barklie's and Mrs Butler's Y4 classes had their 'Evacuee Day' today as part of their WW2 topic. There was much excitement as the boys and girls spent a busy day weighing rations, decoding morse code messages, building Morrisons shelters, designing Anderson shelters from Lego amongst other things!

Three days of this for Playgroup, Nursery and Y1-Y7 - raising money and keeping children healthy and active and happy
Each class has 30mins , Castles are fogged and cleaned between sessions keeping everyone safe - fun times at SMPS

How great are our girls!!! St Malachys Primary School have won 1st place Team with 4 competitors in the Regional Championships of NI School Championships (Trampoline) - qualifying for the next round in Wigan!!!!
