***STRIKE ACTION POSTPONED - SCOOL BUSES TO OPERATE AS NORMAL***
TRANSLINK BUS SERVICE - STRIKE ACTION
Dear Parents & Guardians,
TRANSLINK have advised passengers and parents to make alternative arrangements for next week, ahead of strike action. Strikes will continue for the full week from MONDAY 25th APRIL 2022, ending on SUNDAY 1st MAY 2022, and will include Glider services. The strike action means that commuters will have no Ulsterbus or Glider services for the full week.
A statement from Translink read "While we continue to discuss the issues with our unions, we would advise passengers to start making alternative travel arrangements for next week including PARENTS and CARERS of children that normally travel on any Translink bus service TO AND FROM SCHOOL."
Whilst the unions are trying to thrash out a deal, it is likely that this strike will go ahead, so if your child uses bus services, please make alternative arrangements.
I hope you have been enjoying the lovely weather we have been blessed with over the Easter break, and look forward to seeing you and your children on our return - Monday 25th April 2022.
Kind regards,
Mr Rafferty

ππ€ Y1 classes ππ€
Our Y1 classes enjoyed a fabulous visit to the allotments in Kilcooley today. They had great fun planting potatoes, peas and carrots, exploring the allotments and finding out about the seeds that some of our food comes from. Massive thanks to Clare, Stevie and Dave at @kilcooleycommunityforum for a brilliant day π π π
ππ€ Y3 Castles ππ€
Our Y3 classes created their own castles π° at home and brought them into school as part of their topic work - inspired after their visit to Carrickfergus Castle π° Marvellous creations made from cardboard, wood, lego and one was even edible - can you spot it π?
Brilliant work Y3, I loved seeing this today πππ
