  Mr Rafferty received a surprise visit last week from some ex-pupils! Ms McLaughlin, principal of Our Lady & St Patrick's College Knock arranged for some girls to bring him a gift on behalf of staff and pupils of OLSPCK to mark his upcoming retirement 😀 To say he was touched was an understatement!!! Always lovely to see ex-Malachians 🥰

  After 14 incredible years of dedication, inspiration, and unwavering leadership, we bid a fond farewell to our beloved Principal, Mr. Rafferty. 💚

  Mr. Rafferty has been the heart of St. Malachy's Primary, shaping not just our school, but the lives of countless pupils, staff, and families. His passion for education, his kindness, and his vision have left an indelible mark on our community.

  We have been truly privileged to have him lead our school, and while we are sad to see him go, we are filled with gratitude for everything he has given us. 🌟

  Thank you, Mr. Rafferty — you will be sorely missed, but your legacy will live on in every corner of St. Malachy's. Wishing you a joyful and well-deserved retirement! 🎓💐

  Last Thursday, we celebrated Mr Rafferty’s retirement with a heartfelt and personalised assembly- filled with songs, poems, memories, displays and speeches. Mr Rafferty, of course, stole the show with his emotional speech. 💚❤️
