  Congratulations to our Y7 children who had the Sacrament of Confirmation conferred on them this evening by the Bishop of Down and Connor Noel Trainor. The ceremony was concelebrated by Fr Gunn, Fr Rooney and Fr Doherty. Thanks to Mrs Spence (Y7) and all who had a part to play in this special night.

  

• Sacrament of First Penance

  What a beautiful day - our children made their First Penance today with Fr Gunn and Fr Rooney - a beautiful ceremony which was well received by our children and parents. Our school choir were outstanding as usual and added such warmth to the ceremony with their beautiful tones and harmonies. Well done and thank you to all.

  

• WORLD BOOK DAY 2017

  We had a wonderful celebration of World Book Day today culminating in a whole school assembly - prizes for children in every class! 

  

• Ash Wednesday - LENT

  Fr Gunn, our School Chaplain, joined us this morning and distributed ashes to our Y1-Y7 children.

   

  Fr Gunn spoke to the children about the season of Lent and the importance of it - some children offered suggestions of what they would give up for Lent, computer consoles and chocolate came high up on the list.
