  Congratulations to our Y3 children who partook in the Sacrament of First Penance at St Comgall's Church 🙏 A lovely day and kind words from Canon Gunn ❤️Thank you to our two Y3 teachers, Mrs Ewing and Miss Flannigan, who prepared the children in their classes so well 😊👏

  We had a lovely celebration of our Grandparents today at 10am Mass in St Comgall's Church at which our three Parish Schools were represented, St Malachy's, St Comgall's & St Columbanus' College 🙏 
  For those at the mass, you will be aware that Fr Gunn had a slight 'turn' on the altar. I'm glad to report that he recovered well and was attended by medical staff at the the Parochial House and later at hospital 🏠

  Shhhhhhh.....🤫 I'm on my way to all the boys and girls from St Malachy's, Mr Rafferty tells me they've been very good this year 🥰! He also asked me to wish all their families a happy, safe and loving Christmas, and a wonderful New Year for 2024..... 🥳

  On what would have been his 10th birthday, we, along with Jayden's mum, dad, younger brother Kailen and close friends, remembered Jayden today in a short service in our school garden ❤️ A garden bench, donated by St Anne's PS Donagadee, was dedicated in his memory. Jayden's classmates sang his favourite song 'Somewhere only we know' 🎶 and we talked of the joy he brought to the classroom ❤️ Jayden's name will always be spoken in our school 🙏

  What a great way to start the day!!!! A fantastic commission cheque from Jenni @SignatureWorks which was presented to our Primary and Nursery children, Mrs Mulhern-Caddell (Nursery) and Ms McAlorum (VP) thanks to parental puchases of School uniform and PE kit ❤️ This money will be invaluable in providing new scool resources 🥳 Thank you parents for continuing to support our school 🥰

  We had 4 ActivPanel installations this week in school (two in Y2 classrooms, one in our SEN suite, and one in our ICT suite *pic below*) and a massive 4m x 4m electric screen with wireless projector installed in our Assembly Hall which will be used for assemblies, PE and music lessons 🎼🎵, and much more besides.

  This was possible due to the generosity of you, our families. All classrooms throughout the school now have the most up to date technology available for the boys and girls.

  We cannot thank you enough for your continued support ❤️
