ππ€SUMDOG MATHS CHAMPIONSππ€
Last week, our Y3-Y7 classes entered the South Eastern Regional Sumdog Maths Contest. 1074 pupils from 80 classes in the area participated in this exciting event π³ππ
As ever, we are very proud of all our children who took part but a special congratulations needs to go to Sona π₯³ in Year 6 who was crowned Regional First Place Winner πππ Coming in very close behind her were two boys in the Top 10 π
We also had a number of Top 50 Winners ππ
And finally, a brilliant effort from Mr Richardson’s class who 4th overall in the contest π₯³π₯³π₯³
Big thanks to our Numeracy Co-ordinator Mrs Bradley who coordinated our schools participation in this event ππππ

Sixty Y7 children in Victorian dress for Victorian Day here at SMPS ππ€ Gathering coal from outside to heat the classrooms, work completed on chalkboards and ink wells with quills were all being used in class today π Miss McGrattan seemed 'handy' with the cane π³ NB No child was hurt during this incident π€£
