  Welcome back to a new school year!

   

  This year we start without Mrs Moore, our much loved SENCo who retired at the end of June. We are glad to tell you that Mrs Quinn, our Vice-Principal, has taken on the role of full-time SENCo.

   

  Our new PE kit makes its debut this year - all available from our school uniform shop - contact school office.

   

  Our school calendar is currently with the printers and will be distributed to each family very soon.

   

  We look forward to your continued support this coming year.

  We had a great turn out for our Key Stage 1 Sports day today - the children from Y1-Y3 had a great time and performed brilliantly! Many thanks to our PTA who provided tea / coffee / treats for the many family members in attendance.

• NETBALL SUCCESS

  Well done to our Netball team who travelled to Kilamine PS on Mon 11 April - they did tremendously well and came away with a resounding 6-0 win - well done girls and well done to Mrs Hall their coach!

• Y6 Y7 Cross Country

  Our Y6 & Y7 runners competed in the annual St Columbanus' cross-country event today in Bangor and gained very respectable team positions in competition with approx. 12 other schools -

  Y6 Girls Team  4th overall

  Y6 Boys Team  6th overall

  Y7 Girls Team  3rd overall

  Y7 Boys Team  4th overall

  

• Y5 Passion Play

  Our Y5 children treated a large audience to a wonderful performance today depicting Christ's passion and death at Calvary. Thank you boys and girls and thank you to our two Y5 teachers Miss McGrattan & Mr Richardson. The children were accompanied by our wonderful choir led by Miss Devine & Mrs Finlay.

• Science Dress-up day

  Our children (and some staff!) dressed up today to celebrate the end of Science Week - we had a special assembly in the hall and prizes were given out to the 'best in show' from the classes :-)
