50th Anniversary Mass
To mark our schools 50th Anniversary, Canon Gunn, our school chaplain, will celebrate Mass at St Comgall's Church on Monday 27th January 2025 at 11am
Staff and children from our school will be in attendance, and we cordially invite past pupils, ex-staff, and parents to this Mass to join us in thanking God for 50 years of service to our local community
After Mass, there will be an opportunity to meet and chat with a cup of tea in the Parish Centre next door to the church .
We look forward to seeing friends old and new at this celebration

7th January 1975
On this day, 50 years ago, St Malachy's Primary School opened its doors for the first time and welcomed children from the surrounding areas to become part of a new community
Mr Gerry O'Loan, the first Principal, set in place values and beliefs that remain to this day 50 years later.
We are proud of what we do, we are proud of what our children achieve, and we are proud of the support we receive from our parents and Guardians
We will have a series of events over the next six months to celebrate our 50 years, details to follow.
Thank you to all who have contributed to our school in any way over the past 50 years, each has had a part to play in what we are today
